I used to have the worst sense of direction in the whole world. I would always think I knew how to get to where I was going, but I usually got lost. I’ve finally realized that there’s an element of stupidity in constantly trying to get somewhere on your own when you don’t know how to get there! I’ve learned that if I’ve got a certain amount of time, the smart thing to do is play it safe and get a map.
My advice is, don’t wander around and think you know where you’re going in life. If you don’t know your destination, there’s a wonderful road map ― God’s Word ― that can show you the right way. Don’t do as I used to do. Play it safe. Go to God’s Word for direction. Micah 4:2 NIV says, “He [God] will teach us his ways, so that we may walk in his paths.”
