What does a “miracle” mean to you? Is a miracle something that happened only back in Bible times? Is it something you are expecting today?
Is a miracle something you think can only happen to someone else? Are you believing God for a miracle in your life today?
A miracle is a divine intervention of God. There’s a wonderful, thought- provoking song that singers and songwriters, Donny and Reba McGuire, wrote that says, “I anticipate the inevitable supernatural intervention of God… I expect a miracle.”
That’s the position I hold in my life. I expect miracles from God, all day, every day. I expect God to intervene in the circumstances of my life because I have a relationship with God… I want Him to intervene. I have planted seeds of faith, expecting God to multiply them back to me to meet my needs. (See Luke 6:38.)
Jesus was a Miracle-worker. Everywhere He went He performed miracles. He called them “the works which the Father has given me” (John 5:36). The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the same “yesterday, today, and forever” (Hebrews 13:8). The same miracles that Jesus did when He walked on this earth, He is still doing on this earth. Jesus hasn’t changed. His miracles are for believers… today!
I believe in God’s miracles of salvation…healing…deliverance… provision…reconciliation … restoration… prosperity… and wholeness—because I have seen them with my own eyes. I believe God works miracles today. And I believe He has a miracle for you.
