The thief who recognized the Truth is personified in the smooth gold cross who had his sins forgiven.To him Christ said, “Today you shall be with Me in paradise.”

The jagged nail reminds us of the brutality of Christ’s suffering and sacrifice. The nail pierces the cross where the rough finish changes into a smooth finish, symbolizing the redemptive transformation symbolizing the power of the cross in our lives.

Salvation Cross
This cross reminds us of the pain and suffering Christ endured for us. The white cross represents the Father’s presence during the cruxcifixion. The gold cross represents the royalty bestowed upon Christ, and the crown of thorns evidences the agony Christ experienced on our behalf. The translucent red side of the cross embodies the sinless blood of Christ, the forgiveness of our sins and the promise of everlasting life.

This cross reminds us of our tendency to dwell on our differences. The separated gold bars represent the two opposing sides of any arguement and the different opinions. We have the choice to forgive or not to forgive and must acknowledge that we can only control our own forgiveness. You can find true unconditional forgiveness in Christ.
