Have you ever found yourself driving down the road, realize you were going the wrong direction, and said to yourself, “I’m going the wrong way. I need to find a place to turn around?” No doubt you started looking immediately for a wide place in the road, a driveway, or a parking lot you could turn into. That’s happened to all of us, hasn’t it?

A “point of contact” with the Lord is like a turn-around place in your life. It’s something that you do that causes your life to turn from going one way to going the other—from doubt to faith, from sickness to health, from need to supply. A point of contact. Your faith pointed in the right direction, straight toward a miracle!

Oral and I recently read a letter that our son, Richard, received from a young woman who experienced a turn around. Her point of contact was a $20 bill she planted into God’s work. Here’s what Peggy wrote:

“Three years ago, I was searching for something to give me peace and change my life. I was watching Richard Roberts Live on television when I heard Richard say that if we would only step out in faith, God would help us. He encouraged us to prove God according to Malachi 3:10–11. I decided to see if what he was saying was true.

“I only had $22 in the bank but I took out $20 of it and sent it to your ministry. Shortly after that, I entered a women’s home for drug addicts and while there, I was totally set free by God in a split-second from the addiction that had bound me for 18 years. My boyfriend, who was also a drug addict and alcoholic, saw what God had done for me and he accepted the Lord. He, too, was set free from his addictions. We got married. Then my teenage daughter accepted the Lord. We are now conducting services in jails and in our area.

“Miracles are continuing to happen in our family, more than I can tell you! And it all started with a $20 seed I sent to prove God.”

Are you heading in the right direction today for a miracle? If not, find yourself a turn-around point…a point of contact with the Lord. Take the action that will help you release your faith, and trust God to meet all of your needs.
