There is a God-shaped vacuum in every person that only God can fill. Only He can fill that void in your life and meet your deepest need. The world will tell you to turn to all sorts of things to fill the void in your life. The world will send you to astrology charts, palm readers, tarot cards and crystal balls to try to show you your future. But it’s only God who can make your future.
The world will tell you to try alcohol and drugs to escape the pain of this world. But only God can give you strength to face your hurts and overcome them, by the name of Jesus.
The world will tell you to try false religions in order to find yourself. But it’s only God who can help you become a new creature in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:17). Whatever the void is that’s in your life today, only God can fill it. Turn to Him. Invite Him into your life.
Ask God to fill you up with His Holy Spirit. He’ll do it…just as He promises in 2 Thessalonians 3:3 : The Lord is faithful, who shall establish you, and keep you from evil.
