George Mueller, a great prayer warrior, once said, “Prayer apart from the scriptures is 99% illusion.”
The Bible is an indispensable support for our prayers. Prayer is like having a direct hotline into the throne room of heaven, and the Bible is the directory that gives us the right number.
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him (1 John 5:14–15).
When we pray the Word of God, we know with certainty that we are praying God’s will, and our prayers will be answered.
