Nothing is more important than reading God’s Word.

The psalmist said, Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path (Psalm 119:105 NRS). Have you ever walked along a road in the darkness of night when you could hardly see in front of you? All of a sudden lightning flashes, and for a split second, you can see everything for miles around.

When you read God’s Word, the Holy Spirit can send flashes of truth across your spirit in the same manner. In those moments you can find new insights into your problems or find God’s will for your life. But, above all, you are able to see in clear focus the image of Christ, the Living Word.
