Testament means will. The Old Testament means the old will before Jesus went to the Cross, and the New Testament means the new will after the Cross.
If you don’t find out what was left to you in the will and you don’t collect what belongs to you, the devil will take your property real fast. And he doesn’t care who he takes it from. God is no respecter of persons, but many times neither is the devil. God left something for us in His will. It’s up to us whether or not we choose to find out what is in the will.
My father died when I was 12 years old. He left me some very precious things, and it was amazing to me when my name was mentioned in his will. Nobody else could take those things because they were in my name. God put your name in the will, but you must stand up and say to the devil, “Read the will!” God is standing as our judge and jury, saying, “I’m not going to let anybody else have what I’ve given you. I left your name in the will.”
That means now we can have all our needs met. And we don’t have to be confused. We don’t have to say we don’t know which way to turn because we know the way. God says in Psalm 37:23 that the steps of a good man are ordered of the Lord. According to Mark 11:23–24, whatever we “say” we can have, when we use our faith and don’t doubt in our hearts. I do not doubt in my heart that God is able to meet our needs.
Satan, I command you to release your grip and touch God’s property no more! I’m in the will!
For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.
Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive then, and ye shall have them (Mark 11:23–24).
