When I was a boy, I heard a story about a little dog that was always getting into fights with bigger dogs, and each time the little dog would win. How was that possible? There is an old saying, “It’s not the size of the dog in the fight; it’s the size of the fight in the dog that determines the outcome.”
We sometimes put a limit on what we think God can do for us. But it’s not the size of the problem we’re facing that makes the difference; it’s the measure of faith that God put in us when He breathed the breath of life into our nostrils. God specializes in taking care of big things, little things, and all the things in between. Jesus said, “If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed…nothing will be impossible for you” (Matthew 17:20 NKJV).
