Turn to the Prince of Peace

Lindsay Roberts

Luke 2:12–14: And this will be the sign to you: You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling cloths, lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, goodwill toward men!”

The heavenly host was saying something important. They were talking about peace. If we truly want to have peace on earth — and not simply a day when we have a cease-fire or we put our problems on hold until the next day when they can begin again — this Scripture says we must get to know the  Prince of Peace. His name is Jesus Christ.

God sent His Son, Jesus, to this earth, not so He could be born in a manger, and not so He could die on a cross, but so you and I could have everlasting, eternal, abundant life. And it can begin today. You can ask the Prince of Peace to come into your heart. You can simply say, “Jesus, I believe in You and invite You into my heart as my Savior.” And you can ask Him to touch every area of your life — not just so you have a good day, but so you have a good life… here on earth and everlasting life in heaven.
