There is a story in the Old Testament of four lepers sitting at the gate of Samaria facing a choice between two deaths: starvation in the city or destruction by the Syrians outside. There seemed to be no hope of escape or survival. Finally they said, “Why sit we here until we die?” (II Kings 7:3). And they rose up and made a march of faith. The lepers not only found food for themselves, but through them, God delivered the entire city!
When it looks as if there is no way out of your dilemma, a venture of faith must be taken. Look for something you can do. God honors daring faith, and He can show you the way of deliverance.
