Your Purpose Ends in Resurrection

The Bible says about Jesus, “For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil” (I John 3:8, NKJV)

Jesus had a purpose and He knew it. He knew that God had sent Him to seek and to save that which was lost. He knew that He came to “take off you what the devil put on, to take out of you what the devil put in, to put back on you what the devil took off, and to put back in you what the devil took out.” Jesus knew Who He was!

Jesus also knew that His purpose was going to end in death and suffering… and beyond that, the Resurrection. The Bible tells us about Jesus: “Who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God” (Hebrews 12:2).

No matter what may happen to you as you live out God’s purpose for your life, you can know with certainty that resurrection awaits you. Your final destination is Heaven. Your final destiny is to be with the Lord forever, and to rule and reign with Him.

Your purpose ― when lived out to its fullest ― ends in reward!

Ask God today to give you a new glimpse of the glory that awaits you as you fulfill His purpose for you.
