In Philippians 4:19 we read these words from Saint Paul, “But my God shall supply all your needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
I want you to notice especially that little phrase, “all your needs.”
Only God knows all your needs. We human beings who have the needs don’t always know about all of them!
God knows how that need developed in your life and only God knows how to meet it. Only God can supply the methods and the people and the finances and the material things for meeting your needs. No matter what you are facing today, you can rest assured… God knows all about it.
Notice, too, that the Bible doesn’t say that God will only meet your spiritual needs. God sees need as NEED.
We human beings sometimes try to split God. We talk to God one way about spiritual things and another way about material needs. We pray one kind of prayer for salvation, and another kind for financial supply or miraculous healing, or for guidance. But God isn’t divided.
Paul said, “My God shall supply.” The Lord our God is One. You can pray to Him about any need in your life. No need is too small or too insignificant to Him.
Paul also wrote that God would provide “according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”
Let me tell you, friend, God has got an unlimited supply. Your need can never be bigger than God’s supply! All of the resources of Heaven are at God’s command, all healing power, all wealth, all ability and skill, all of nature. God has unlimited methods and means available to Him for meeting your needs.
Finally, believe today what Paul said when he wrote, “My God shall supply.” Let those words sink deep into your spirit: God shall supply, God shall supply, God shall supply — all your needs!
