The Shaping of My Life
Richard Roberts – Second of two parts Days went by, then weeks and months past. It had been prophesied over me that the healing ministry would come into my life, but I knew that my faith had something to do with it. I had to launch out. I had to believe. God will give you […]
By Faith We Receive
Richard Roberts – First of two parts I had thought about being in a healing ministry, but I wondered if God could ever use me because I’d made a lot of mistakes in my life. But the good news is, when you make a mistake, you can go to God. When you commit sin, you […]
The God of Increase
Lindsay Roberts God is not a God of subtraction and division. I once heard a preacher say, “He’s the God of multiplication and addition!” But how can we know our Lord is a God of increase? Is it biblical? Take a look at the promises in God’s Word: Seek first the kingdom of God and […]
A Rhythm of Sowing
Richard Roberts The apostle Paul, writing to the Philippian Church, said, “Now you Philippians know also that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me concerning giving and receiving but you only. For even in Thessalonica you sent aid once and again for my necessities” (Philippians 4:15–16 […]
A Vital Lesson
From the archives of Oral Roberts I once saw Sir Edmund Hillary, the first man to climb Mount Everest. He told of the very difficult task of climbing to the summit: the swirling, icy winds, the thin, oxygen-poor air, the task of carrying tent and gear, the sheer fatigue and the presence of death every […]
A Higher Realm
Lindsay Roberts If you’re like me, you don’t always know exactly how to pray for certain situations. But thank God, He has given us the Holy Spirit to help us when we don’t know what to pray. Roman 8:26 NKJV says, The Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we […]
Praise Jesus for Freeing You!
Richard Roberts Psalm 105 begins with these words: “O give thanks unto the Lord: call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.” Today is a good day to recall what Jesus has done and continues to do for us and for declaring that Jesus is our freedom. Jesus FREES us from sin […]
God’s Wisdom
From the archives of Evelyn Roberts Many people I meet view God as a harsh judge who is just waiting to pronounce a sentence upon them. If we think of God like that, we’ll not have His wisdom. Wisdom is rooted in having the right understanding of God, which is knowing that God is a […]
A Direct Relationship
Richard Roberts I believe very deeply that when you find an absence of spiritual power, you will find an absence of strong effective prayer. Prayer and spiritual power are linked together. You simply cannot ― and do not ― have spiritual power without prayer. The same line you call God on is the line He […]
He Is Lord ― He Is Lord Over All
From the archives of Oral Roberts There’s a chorus that has been popular for many years that goes, “He is Lord, He is Lord, He has risen from the dead and He is Lord. Every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.” What does it mean for Jesus to be […]
