Are you facing a problem or circumstance today and you don’t know which way to turn? The Bible teaches that God will give you His wisdom on the matter if you do two things:
First, ask God for wisdom. James wrote in the verse above that “the giving God” will give you wisdom…
- Liberally – which means in good, generous supply.
- Without reproach or faultfinding ― which means that He won’t look down on you for not knowing the answer or criticize you for asking.
What a comfort that is to me! God WANTS you and me to have His wisdom! He’s just waiting for us to turn to Him and ask for it.
In James 4:2 we read “You do not have because you do not ask” (Amplified Bible). Oh, how many blessings are we missing out on today because we simply haven’t asked God for them?
But there’s a second thing we must do … ask in faith! We must expect God to give us His wisdom… in His timing, using His methods and always for our good.
Believe today that God not only wants you to have His wisdom but that He is going to give it to you, just when you need it and in the way you can receive it. EXPECT wisdom from God!
