There is an invisible line between you and God. Getting on the line…really making a faith connection with Him…can make all the difference in the world in your life.
God is always working on His end of the line. When God is working on His end and you are working on your end, something supernatural begins to happen. The Spirit of God begins to come into your being, and you lock into a supernatural connection that can help you get your needs met like never before.
Staying on the line with God has always been difficult for us as human beings. Adam and Eve began on that line, but through their disobedience they got off the line and lost that supernatural connection with God.
By the time of Noah, it seemed as if the line between God and man had almost stopped working. While God was continually working on His end of the line, only faithful Noah and his family remained on man’s end of the line.
Finally, along came Abraham. When Abraham got on the line with God, a connection was established that has never been broken. There was that miracle moment when Abraham, by faith, got on the line with God. And as this giving and receiving between God and Abraham continued, Abraham and his family began to receive miracle after miracle from God.
God said something to Abraham that is so important to us today, and we don’t want to miss it. He said, “I know [Abraham], that he will command his children … after him and they shall keep the way of the Lord” (Genesis 18:19).
Every person must come to God personally and get on the line with God for themselves. It is something that no one else in the world can do for us. The decision to get on the line with God is ours and ours alone. When we do, our lives will never be the same!
