God Is Concerned About What Concerns You

Lindsay Roberts

One of my favorite Scriptures is Matthew 10:30, which tells us that even the very hairs on our heads are all numbered. Can you imagine a God who is so concerned about every miniscule detail of His children’s lives that He takes the time to count the hairs on each one of their heads? That’s almost seven and a half billion people!

As a mother, I’m concerned about my three children. I love them. I know their birthdays. I know their favorite things. I know what they like to eat. But I have never counted the hairs on their heads! God has, though, because He cares about the minutest details of our lives.

There may be times when you feel that the problem or adversity you are facing is unimportant to God, but it isn’t. If it’s important to you, it’s important to God. If it concerns you, it concerns Him. It may be an enormous problem or some little thing, but God cares.

No matter what your problem is, give it to God. Pass it on to Him. If it concerns your finances, your family, your job, your health, or your relationships, give it to God and ask Him to fix it. Lay your problems at the foot of the Cross.

I believe that God is a God of meticulous detail and that He can heal you from the very soles of your feet all the way up to every numbered hair on your head. God is a good God who is concerned about what concerns you! Now just pray . . .

Father, I thank You that You are truly a God of miracles and that You love me and are concerned about my concerns. I am seeking You, Father God, for every need that I face. And I ask You to minister healing to every part of my life, every fiber of my being that is hurting. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
