Sickness and disease are the work of the devil. The Bible makes this clear in John 10:10 NKJV when Jesus said, “The thief [devil] does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Jesus came to earth so that He might destroy the devil’s evil works that try to attach themselves to our lives. First John 3:8 NKJV says, The devil has sinned from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that He might destroy the works of the devil.
Maybe you’re faced with a physical problem in your back or hips. Or maybe you have failing eyesight. You may have a problem with your hearing or some other problem, such as stuttering. Maybe your knees are bothering you. You may have asthma and have trouble breathing. Whatever it is, Jesus came to destroy satan’s evil works. So right now, let’s set our faith in agreement with God’s Word and believe Him for the miracle you need as we pray together:
In the authority of the Name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I come into agreement with you against sickness, against fear, against doubt, against whatever it is that is trying to attach itself to your life. Jesus was manifested that He might destroy the works of the devil. You belong to God! So I say, satan, take your hands off God’s property! I come against your evil works and command them, in the name of Jesus, to stop! Amen.
