The Bible says in Romans 10:17 that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. And one of the most powerful ways to hear the Word of God is for it to come right out of our own mouths.
With all that’s going on in the world today, I’ve become more careful about the words I speak. I hear people say, “I’m afraid.” But the Bible says, Do not fear (Luke 12:7 NKJV). So what should we do? Line our words up with God’s Word, stay in faith, and say, “I will not fear.”
When our words agree with God’s Word, we open the door for Him to bring His promises to pass in our lives!
