Three Keys to Moving Forward with God

From the archives of Oral RobertsFirst of three parts

Does your life have a focus today? Does your life have meaning? Some people talk about their lives being “centered.” Is yours? Do you have a supreme goal for your life?

The apostle Paul had a focus for his life. He wrote to the church at Philippi. “This one thing I do.” Everything in Paul’s life was aimed at achieving one thing.

The apostle Paul had a goal for his life. He said plainly that everything in his life was aimed at reaching “the mark … the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus (Philippians 3:14).” Above everything else, Paul wanted what GOD wanted for his life. That’s what he meant by the “high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Paul no longer considered that he was the ruler of his own life. He considered himself to be in total and complete service to his Lord. To do the Lord’s will was Paul’s number-one goal.

You can have a focus and goal for your life today. His Name is Jesus!
