Whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. — Galatians 6:7
I’ve heard it said that when you sow into someone else’s dream, God will bring your own dream to pass. It doesn’t happen overnight, but I have learned from experience that this is true.
Several years ago, my dream was to have a child. I’d been through several miscarriages and the sudden death of our firstborn son, Richard Oral. In the natural, it would have been the perfect time to give up. But instead, I began to plant the biggest seed and to do the most difficult thing I have ever done in my life. I began to pray for other women who became pregnant and to give them baby showers.
As I watched them with their lovely little babies, I believed God would reward my giving. It was a very difficult thing to do, but I did it with a smile on my face. I did the best I could do, believing that someday that seed would come to harvest. And it did… I am the mother of three precious daughters.
Do you have a dream that seems impossible? Don’t give up. Keep seeding into the dreams of others and one day, you will see your own dream come to pass.
